For artists, venues & content owners

The room is
only the
beginning.

The fan who moved abroad. The friend who couldn't get a ticket. The person about to discover you.

Your next audience is already out there. Bring them into your live show with Front Row, earn beyond the venue, and give your art more room to travel.

A bigger life for your performance

One great show.
More possibilities.

01 / Live

Earn beyond
the door.

Your venue has a capacity. Your community doesn't. Add online ticket income from fans who can't be there in person, wherever eligible ticket access is available.

02 / Discovery

Find your
next fan.

Give people a place to discover your work and a reason to come back. A stream can introduce the artist, the venue or the company behind a performance—and spark a future visit.

03 / The encore

Let the work
live on.

A past performance can find a new audience. Bring us your archive and explore a replay partnership, with the ambition of earning from work you've already made.

Published replays are currently free to watch. Paid replay models are a conversation to explore, with separate terms agreed before any paid release.

African-built. Culture first.

For the people
shaping what
comes next.

Music, theatre, films and performances with a point of view.

For the tastemakers. The first fans. The people putting on a show before the rest of the world knows their name.

Front Row is an African-built home for live culture, rooted in Accra and made to travel. A performance gets its own room, with an audience that chose to be there.

Live chat, reactions and moderation keep the audience part of the experience. Programme discovery, phone viewing and supported TV apps bring the show into people's everyday lives. Each programme shows its available viewing options.

We're early. Help us shape something worth showing up for.

Where do you fit in?

Different stages.
The same possibility.

A few ways we could start together. These are ideas for a first collaboration, shaped around your rights, audience and production.

01 / Up-and-coming artists

Your people are everywhere.

Reach fans at home and abroad. Give them a way to show up, connect with you and pay for a performance—even when a flight or a night out isn't possible.

Try this: An intimate set for the fans who have been there since the beginning.

02 / Theatre & performance companies

Let the story travel.

Introduce your cast and craft to people outside your usual audience. Give someone a first taste of your company that could become a ticket to your next production.

Try this: A streamed performance with the cast's and rights holders' permission.

03 / Venues & event organisers

A bigger room for your night.

You've brought the talent and the crowd together. Invite an online audience into the experience, and let more people discover what makes your venue worth visiting.

Try this: One artist-approved live session from your regular programme.

04 / Independent creators

Make your creativity count.

Poetry, comedy, dance, storytelling. Turn your time and imagination into a show people can support, and find the audience that wants more of what only you can make.

Try this: A focused set, a creative showcase or a new piece in front of your community.

05 / Schools & alumni communities

The school spirit still lives.

Bring alumni and families back into the room from wherever life has taken them. Explore paid live shows for fundraising and share the talent that could inspire your next students.

Try this: An alumni concert or school production, with school approval, performer permissions and safeguards for minors. Replay plans are agreed separately.

06 / Content & archive owners

There's life in that archive.

A remarkable performance shouldn't disappear into a hard drive. Let a new audience discover recordings you own or are authorised to share, and help shape future replay earning models.

Try this: One cleared recording to explore together, with availability and commercial terms agreed in advance.

A small start, with room to grow

One show.
Let's make it count.

You don't need to begin with a whole season. Start with a conversation about one performance or one recording.

  1. Bring the idea.

Tell us what you make, where you're based and who you'd love to reach. An upcoming show or a recording you control is enough to start the conversation.

  2. Agree the details.

Confirm rights, format, ticket eligibility, production responsibilities, costs and commercial terms before anything goes live. Replay use gets its own agreement.

  3. Bring your people.

Prepare the show in Front Row Studio, test the sound and connection, and share the event with your community. Front Row provides the platform; your production setup is agreed up front.

  4. Learn. Earn. Go again.

Review attendance and engagement, settle eligible earnings under the agreed terms, and decide together what the next show could be.

The money, in plain sight

Your art.
Your fair share.

The current Standard GA live-ticket policy gives the artist 80% of reconciled net proceeds. Front Row receives 20%.

80%Artist share

What gets split?

Start with ticket receipts. Resolve store charges, taxes, payment fees, refunds, reversals, bank costs and currency conversion. The amount left is the provider-reconciled net proceeds. That's what the 80/20 split applies to.

For a venue, school, company or other rights owner, we'll confirm the contracting party, eligibility and any internal artist arrangements before a paid show.

When you're paid

At least 30 days after Front Row receives the provider funds, subject to manual review. Refunds, disputes, tax or reconciliation questions can extend the hold. Pending or estimated balances aren't available earnings.

Where payouts go

Eligible Ghana artists can set up a verified Ghana bank or mobile-money destination through Paystack. This is separate from ticket checkout and does not release held earnings or guarantee a payout date. Payouts require reconciliation and manual review. If you're based elsewhere, talk to us about eligibility before planning a paid event.

Live and replay are separate

Standard GA covers the live show only. Published replays are currently free. A paid replay partnership needs separately agreed rights, availability and commercial terms; the live-ticket split doesn't automatically apply.

A clear starting point

Keep your work.
Try something new.

You keep ownership of your content. Front Row receives a licence to host, display, distribute and promote it within the service, under the published terms.

Start with a defined show or recording. Agree the scope, costs and permissions first. Then see what you can build with an audience beyond the room.

We can't promise a crowd or a payday. We can start with a clear plan and an honest conversation.

Care for your work

Clear permissions.
Considered protection.

Agree where, when and how a performance can be offered before it goes out. Streaming and replay permissions are checked separately.

Access that follows the show

Viewing depends on current availability and the access rules for that performance. Paid live tickets belong to the buyer's Front Row account; a live ticket does not automatically unlock a replay.

Fewer easy ways to save

The browser player discourages ordinary save actions and does not offer offline downloads. These are practical deterrents, not a guarantee against copying.

Honest about the limits

Browser screen recording and download tools can still copy media. Device protections vary. Talk to us about a title's requirements before sharing sensitive or exclusive work.

Protection and viewing guidance

Before the curtain goes up

Good questions.

Do I need a big following or a big production?

Bring a performance and an idea of who would want to see it. Mobile Front Row Studio can broadcast from a phone; good sound, stable internet and a rehearsal matter. A camera crew, equipment hire and production services are not automatically included. We'll agree what your show needs before you commit. See the artist streaming guide.

Can I earn from a recording I already have?

That's part of the vision we're building towards. Published replays are currently free to watch, so uploading a recording does not automatically earn revenue. If you control the necessary rights, bring us a title and let's explore the audience and a possible commercial partnership. Any paid replay terms must be agreed separately.

Can I choose any ticket price?

The current eligible Standard GA web ticket is US$0.99 through Stripe. App-store checkout displays its own local price before payment. Pricing options and paid-event eligibility are confirmed before publication; this page doesn't promise custom pricing. Standard GA admission is for the scheduled live show only.

What permissions do I need?

You need permission to stream or publish everything in the performance, including the recording, performers, music and any play or other underlying work. Permission to stage a production doesn't necessarily include streaming or replay rights. Schools also need appropriate school approval, consent and safeguards for participating children.

Will Front Row bring the audience?

Front Row gives your show a place to be discovered and watched. Your own promotion, artist relationships and community still matter. We'll discuss the launch plan together; placement, audience size, ticket sales and conversion to in-person attendance aren't guaranteed.

What if the show is cancelled or a ticket is refunded?

Refunds and reversals can reduce or reverse the related artist earnings. Store purchases follow the store's refund process; cancellation of a Stripe web-ticketed show starts a refund to the original payment method. We'll confirm responsibilities and the relevant terms before your event. Read the full refund and payout policy.

Musicians, filmmakers & theatre producers

Great show.
Let's open up
the room.

Tell us what you make and who comes back to watch. We're especially keen to hear from creators reaching 1,000 or more viewers regularly. A smaller audience? You can still introduce your work.

Explore eligible live ticket income or a recording partnership. Published replays are currently free; commercial terms and rights are agreed separately. Submitting an enquiry does not commit you to a show.
